Popular Nigerian actress, Bimbo Ademoye took to her Instagram page to show off how much she had in her safe after she broke it. According to the video she posted, she decided to break her safe after few months of putting money inside it. She said she counted it with her friend, who was also with her in the video she posted on her instastory. She revealed that she was able to have saved one million, five hundred thousand and few extra cash (1.5m naira).
She said that she didn’t make the video to show off or oppress people, but rather to encounrage them on the saving culture. She also admonished her fans to start saving, no matter how little they think the money is. She said that saving as little as one hundred naira regularly, it can amount to one hundred thousand naira very soon. In order to motivate them, she declared a challenge open that she will cash to whoever will be able to have the highest amount of money at the end of the period.
