He is identifed as Fasasi Ayinla Olabankewin , popularly known as ‘ Dagunro ‘. He was known for acting as an herbalist and warrior in Yoruba traditional movies.
Dagunro was a trained mechanic but he left the craft because of his passion for acting . He celebrated his 50 years on stage in 2015 .
This Yoruba movie legend married only a wife and he was blessed with five children , three boys and two girls . Two of his children are also following his footsteps in acting profession . Dagunro’s third child is identified as Jamiu Olabankewin ,he is also an actor , he started acting under the mentorship of his late father ‘ Dagunro ‘ .
Another Dagunro’s son called Kazeem Iyanda Olabankewin is a set designer & movie producer . He is the C.E.O of Dagunro films production & an online television called ‘ Orokilawa ‘ T.v . Dagunro was also blessed with grandchildren before his demise .
