Today is a sad day in the Nigerian music industry, the news about the death of Olarenwaju Abdul – Ganiu Fasasi who is popularly known as Sound Sultan was confirmed to be true by his family through a statement they posted on social media, it was stated that Sound Sultan died as a result of an illness which is called Angioimmunoblastic T – Cell Lymphoma.

A lot of fans and celebrities took to social media to pay their tribute to Sound Sultan, some of the celebrities who posted a tribute for Sound Sultan are Don Jazzy, Ice Prince, Peruzzi, Mr. Eazi, Johnny Drille, Fireboy, Ycee, Rudeboy, M.I Abaga and Bella Shmurda.
