Popular nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa, has taken to her Instagram page to reveal that her father’s family neglected her when she was small. The nollywood actress said though her mother was a poor woman she was determined to make her children great in life. The nollywood actress explained that she only knew her brothers and sisters but her father’s family neglected her and her siblings. Funmi revealed that life was tough for her when growing up as she suffered a lot. She said, “people failed me, friends judged me, lovers abandoned me during my difficult time, no one to call when I needed a shoulder to lean on.” The actress explained further that at a point, she used to think about her previous experience in life, and this has made her give thanks to God always because she has now become a world star.
