Controversial Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has received a special award as the ‘Actress of the Year’ courtesy of South-west advancement.
This comes barely a few months after the actress was at loggerhead with veteran Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko over her suspension in the Nollywood industry following her misconduct in the rape case of Baba Ijesha.
Sharing the photo of the award on her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing said she walked into an event that hosted notable personalities, politicians including young and old entrepreneurs and she was sought out as the only actress..
Expressing her excitement, Nkechi Blessing thanked the organisers of the award.
She wrote:
Walked into this Event tonight Filled with notable personalities, politicians, young and old entrepreneurs and I happen to be the only ACTRESS and to that note I got the ACTRESS OF THE YEAR Award thank you to the organizers of @southwestadvancementaward this is very well appreciated.
