Top Nollywood stars such as Faithia Balogun, Ademola Muyiwa, Jide Kosoko and others on Tuesday 10th August stormed the burial ceremony of Adebayo Salami’s mother, who died a few days ago.
A video shared by Goldmyne TV captured Jide Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Faithia Balogun, Jaiye Kuti, Muyiwa Ademola and others showing their dancing skills as Alhaji Besco Azeez serenades with Ayinde Barrister’s vibes.
News recalls that Adebayo Salami took to his Instagram page a few days ago to pen down a tribute for his mother, saying that no child ever prays to see his mother depart.
Adebayo Salami described her mother as his teacher, food bank and jewel, and if tears could bring her back, they will not hesitate to go the extra mile to make it happen.
No child ever prays to see his mother depart. My mother, my first teacher. My mother my food bank. My mother, my Jewel. Seeing your body being laid to rest brings out a deeply emotional part of me I never knew existed.
If tears and prayers could bring you back, we won’t hesitate to go extra miles to make it happen. Maami Ayoka, you left at a very “tender” age.
You lived well. You made life tremendously worth living. Oh Allah, bless the soul of my motherOh Allah, forgive the sins of my mother Oh Allah, grant my mother aljanah Firdaos
