While some people have a smooth transition from childhood to adulthood and then to accomplishing their long term goals, others tend to go through tough experiences before they begin to achieve the things they’ve always dreamt of.
Angel Smith is a Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate whose story is quite touching. When people see how beautiful and composed she is, they may not really know the tough times she has gone through before she got to where she is today and attained the fame she now has.
Angel Smith was born in the year 2000 and she is 21 years old while her mother is 37 years old. Angel attended a boarding secondary school and during her secondary school days, she had a difficult time keeping up with good grades, this made her slide into depression at some point.
After she graduated from secondary school, she gained admission into the University of Lagos and for the first two weeks of resumption, she didn’t attend any classes because she felt she would not be able to cope. She ended up dropping out of the University the same year she gained admission.
After Angel’s mom found out that she had dropped out of school, she helped enroll Angel in a foundation school in London to study Mass Communication but Angel ended up dropping out again.
Despite these educational setbacks, Angel did not allow her experience sway her from living life to the fullest and chasing her dreams. She came on the Big Brother Naija season 6 show and currently, she is one of the fans’ favorites.
Asides being a reality TV star, angel is also a Writer and a Poet. This goes to show that there’s more to Angel than meets the eye
