Taiwo Ibikunle is a prominent Nollywood actor, producer, director, stage performer, and television presenter. He was born in Kaduna State and hails from Osun State. He is known for his lead role in the highly successful Yoruba movie “Eji Owuru” (2003).
He began his playing career on stage as a member of his department’s theatre company, UITAT, during his undergraduate years.
While still in school, he worked with the company on a number of on-screen television soap operas for the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) Television. He shared the stage with the late Chief Wale Ogunyemi (OFR), a seasoned playwright and performer, and Afeez Oyetoro, a famous humorous actor (Saka).
