The Nigerian skit making industry has grown in leaps and bounds. In 2021, some skit makers went above and beyond the ordinary to educate and entertain their fans.

Debo Adebayo a.k.a Mr Macaroni continues to increase his fan base by releasing excellent skits, featuring celebrities in them and uplifting the society through the messages in the skits. Asides his face off with police authorities this year which further made many see the activist side of him, Macaroni has grown to become one of the biggest skit makers in Nigeria.
Broda Shaggi
When you think of Samuel Perry a.k.a Broda Shaggi what comes to mind would be ‘creative insanity’, consistency and diligence. Shaggi who now has 9.4 million followers on Instagram is one of the most talked about skit makers in Africa. The comedian who also doubles as a singer, hosted a show in Sierra Leone weeks back which further endorsed his star power.
Taaooma
Maryam Apaokagi a.k.a Taaooma started online comedy accidentally after convincing her fiancé to teach her the basics of video editing. She has since become one of the most followed skit makers in Nigeria with 3m followers.Her skits are focused on revealing African mothers and their unique manner of disciplining their children.
Mr Funny(Oga Sabinus)
Chukwuemeka Emmanuel a.k.a Oga Sabinus is one of the comedy revelations of 2021. The young comedian with diligence and consistency moved up the ladder in the Nigerian skit making industry with his engaging skits. He usually plays the character of man who interferes in matters that are not his business. This year his brand grew exponentially.He also staged his own comedy show in Port Harcourt.
Zicaloma
Aloma Isaac Junior better known as Zicaloma is also one of the fastest rising instagram comedians of 2021. His comedy skits mimic how Nigerian mothers act and react to different situations.From a relatively unknown instagram comedian, Zicaloma grew his brand to the point where he gets brand endorsements.
