Olajumoke Ray Eyiwumi’s aka Mama Ray is a veteran Nollywood actress. She has been acting for over 60 years and is one of the pioneers of the Nigerian film industry.
The veteran actress turned 81 today and her children have taken to their social media handles to celebrate her.
Her son, Muka Ray took to his official social media handle to celebrate her birthday. He shared lovely photos of her and gushed over her. Muka Ray said, “Happy birthday to my lovely mother, my gold and pride. Thinking about all you have gone through because of us your children. I concluded that you are a great woman, you took up the load of two and delivered well”.
Muka Ray is short of words in describing his mother because she’s everything to him and his siblings. He prayed that she shall live long to enjoy the fruit of her labor. In addition, he said if he comes to this world again, he will love to come through her.
Muka Ray’s elder brother, Lasun Ray also took to his official social media handle to celebrate his mother. He shared lovely photos and videos of his mother and said, “Happy birthday to my gold, the best mother in the world, I’m proud of you and the entire world is also proud of you”.
He wished her many more years and prayed that she will enjoy the fruit of her labor.
Mama Ray lost her husband, veteran actor, late Pa Ray Eyiwunmi in 1986 and singlehandedly raised her children till they became adults.
