An Islamic cleric, Ustaz Jamiu Adegunwa has advised actress Kemi Afolabi to stay happy and she should not seek help from anybody, rather she should get closer to God by performing her daily salat (prayer) regularly.
Kemi Afolabi earlier reveals she’s battling with Lupus, a disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks tissues and organs.
Jamiu Adegunwa stated this during one of his public lectures said:
There one lady called Kemi Afolabi, I could remember we went to 2019 Hajj together, they said the doctor gave her five years to live, that becomes a sorrow for her, If I have the opportunity to speak with her, I will tell to be happy, the five years that remain for her, I will tell her to use that period to get closer to God.
Because her previous life is all about acting movies, but now she needs to get closer to God, perform five times daily salat because they have already given her the time of death and doctor only predicts his own but not sure, if God wishes you will live more than that.
He later told his congregation to pray and wishes her good health.
