Speaking in a recent interview with Lilian Agebai on Lilian Couch, the actor boasted about being the highest-paid actor in the Nigerian movie industry in the last two years from 2020 to till now. He said his price has gone up and this is the reason why his lifestyle has changed and he now lives a more luxurious life.
In his words, “I have has an amazing past for the last two to three years. I am the highest-grossing actor in Africa for two years back to back. It is nothing. It is not that big, I don’t not like loading all these types of things.”
Speaking further, the actor also talked about how he quit Nollywood in 2019 due to frustration. The actor said that he was not happy with his growth and quality of what he was doing in the Industry and he left. But he came back and luckily for him, everything has been working out for him ever since then.
“I gave up on my dream. In 2019, I stopped acting. I quit, got a 9-5 work, and went back to work. I wasn’t happy with the quality of what I was doing. It wasn’t as frequent as I would like. I was tired and I was fed up and I left.” – The screen icon said.
