Nollywood controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to social media to call out his colleague, Laide Bakare, following the car her 13-year-old daughter gifted her younger brother, as he stated that the likes of Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola, never allowed his daughter, DJ Cuppy, to buy a car for her younger siblings when she was 13 years old.
Recall that Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, had earlier on, taken her official Instagram page to share a video showing the moment her 13-year-old daughter, Simi Bakare, gifted her 9-year-old brother, Damy Bakare, a car, as Damy Bakare expressed joy with regards to such expensive gift he received.
However, following Laide Bakare’s revelation, the actress has received several criticisms from Nigerians, including his colleague, Uche Maduagwu, as they faulted her for allowing her daughter to gift her younger brother, a car at such age.
Uche Maduagwu further advised Laide Bakare to allow her daughter focus on her education, adding that even Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola, never allowed his daughter, DJ Cuppy, to gift her younger siblings a car when she was 13 years old.
The brand influencer finally cited Nigerian-American singer, Davido, as an example, as he stated that despite how kind the singer is towards his baby mamas, he will never allow his children to gift each other a car until they are matured.
