Nigerian singer, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, professionally known as Reekado Banks has lost his mum, Mrs. Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon.
Reekado shared via his Instagram page, asking that his fans and families put his family in their prayers.
Mrs. Olubunmi turned 75 in August, and she was pleasantly surprised by her children with a brand-new car.
The events that led to her death are still vague. She is survived by her husband, sisters, children, and grandchildren.
The post on his Instagram page reads:
“IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF OUR WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, CONFIDANT, AND FRIEND. DORCAS OLUBUNMI SOLOMON IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, SISTERS, CHILDREN, AND GRANDCHILDREN.
WE IMPLORE THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO KEEP US IN PRAYERS AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.”
