Following the death of Davido’s son, Nigerian actor Muyiwa Ademola advised parents who has a swimming pool in their house to endeavor to secure free entry to the pool.
Davido’s three-year-old son with his fiancée, Chioma, died on Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool at his dad’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
He was reportedly rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was confirmed dead by one of the doctors on duty.
Ifeanyi’s parents had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left the little boy with his minders, who couldn’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned
Reacting to this, Muyiwa Ademola condoles Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, and advised other parents who have a swimming pool in their house to secure free entry to the pool and ensure no one except adults and supervised children gets in.
He further suggests that govt should begin to give modalities etc to those who want to infuse swimming pools into their house structures.
In his word, he wrote:
It is one of the saddest thing when kids are being buried by parents. We really wish it never happened! May The Almighty gives the parents and the entire Adeleke family the strength to bear this loss💔.
Please and please if you have a pool in your house and you have little children, endeavor to secure free entry to the pool, ensure no one except adults and supervised children gets in .
Maybe govt should begin to give modalities etc to those who wants to infuse swimming pools into their house structures, just maybe, just maybe.
Rest In Peace Champ💔.
(It took me hours to put this together💔).
