
Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian whose real name is Abdulgafar Ahmad but popularly known as Cute Abiola, reunite with his mother after he was released from the custody of the Nigerian Navy.
TheTalkNG reports that the Nigerian comedian who is also Naval staff was detained for over 3 weeks by the Navy because he violated the Armed Forces Social Media Policy.
Talking about Armed Forces Social Media Policy Cute Abiola violated, the Law gives guidelines for use of the social media by military personnel including the extent to which members of their families are allowed to use social media.
Read one of the cautions in the guidelines below:
“Personnel should not post their pictures or those of their colleagues in military uniforms, or pictures containing military structures, platforms, and other military-related items,”
Cute Abiola wore a police uniform in one of his skits and “ridicule the Nigeria Police in the process.”
Some of his fans believed that His arrest was connected to an Instagram post he made on November 13.
He posted a video of himself wearing a military uniform with a gun. The video is from one of his scenes in Funke Akindele’s comedy-drama, ‘Jenifa’s Diary’.
Yesterday, December 13, 2021. He was released to his family and his car keys were returned to him.
Meanwhile, a video shared online shows the moment Comedian Cute Abiola re-United with his mother.
His Mother was very happy to see her son. She was seen lying on the floor, shaking her head as people in the room was laughing. Cute Abiola raise her up and said:
“Mummy i miss you”
