Nigerian comedian cum filmmaker Ayo Makun known as AY has taken to social media to jubilate as his latest movie, ‘Christmas In Miami’, hits one hundred million Naira in five days.
Taking to his Instagram page, AY said his aim in life is not to get ahead of others but to get ahead of himself in everything and break his own record.
AY added his true idea is to get ahead of himself as he learns daily to be a better entertainer and filmmaker.
He wrote: 100 MILLION IN 5 DAYS!!!!!! My aim in life is not to get ahead of others but to get ahead of myself in all that I do; to break my own records; to outstrip my yesterdays by my todays; to bear my trials more beautifully than i ever dreamed i could; to give as i never have given; to do my work with more force and a finer finish than ever.
This is the true idea: to get ahead of myself as I learn daily to be a better entertainer and filmmaker. Thank you Nigeria for making Christmas In Miami the No 1 Nollywood movie in the cinemas.
In another development AY, and his wife Mabel are reportedly set to welcome another baby.
Instagram blogger Gistlovers disclosed this, and this is coming after 13 years when AY had his first child Michelle.
The post reads: Hello tueh tueh, congratulations are in order as unku AY set to welcome another baby after him daughter, I come in peace ooo, igi ewedu oni wo pawa.
It was recalls that AY took to social media on February 1st 2021 to celebrate his lovely daughter on her 13th birthday.
The proud father prayed that his daughter would continue to experience beautiful things in her life as she developed into a woman. AY also prayed for her to continue to grow in knowledge and wisdom.
In his words, “Dear Michelle Adeola Makun, turning 13 today marks another start in your life, may beautiful things never cease to happen in your life. May you continue to grow in wisdom and knowledge.May you continue to stand tall amongst your equals.
