Shortly after his wife, Elsie Okpocha lambasted those who are saying that the Nigerian entertainment industry doesn’t love Davido, Comedian Basketmouth has expressed his thoughts on the trending issue.
Davido had pointed out how no artiste celebrated his newest achievement or posted the news on their Instagram pages.
Many were expecting to see the likes of Don Jazzy, 2baba, Tiwa Savage and others celebrate his win but they all shunned him.
Crying out, Davido agreed when a Twitter user also made the same observation.
The Twitter user with the handle, Sonjoe Kutuh spotted how no Nigerian artiste posted about Davido’s FIFA song.
He complained that if it was Wizkid, everyone would be bowing for me.
Davido replied him, “ME vs THE INDUSTRY!!!!! I LOVE IT!!”.
On his part, Basketmouth urged everyone to support each other in order to let peace reign in the industry.
Basketmouth whose real name is Bright Okpocha shared photos of himself and Davido and wrote, “In addition to his numerous achievements at such a young age, @davido has now single handedly carried Nigeria to the World Cup. That alone should be applauded. Regardless of any other situation. Nobody go die if we support everybody.”
