Nigerian veteran singer, Frank Edwards, has taken to social media to air his opinion, following the death of his colleague, Osinachi Nwachukwu, as he disclosed that the singer’s husband controlled her so much when she was still alive.
The legendary gospel singer who revealed this through a live video on his official Instagram page, stated that so many persons have revealed that they advised the singer to leave her marriage, following the abuses and beatings she received from her husband, but she never listened, adding that he does not know why her husband will be jealous of her because she is progressing and doing better than him.
Frank Edwards further went ahead to reveal that he never knew that Osinachi Nwachukwu’s husband had so much control over her until the day he invited her to an event, and she requested that he inform her husband, telling him that the event is done for free, adding that if her husband finds out that she was going to be paid in that event, he would have collected the money.
Frank Edwards however, revealed that he never knew that he will have to take permission from her husband before helping her to produce her songs, adding that he was surprised when he was told to seek permission from her husband before assisting her.
