Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has apologised to her senior colleague, Funke Akindele.

Tonto Dikeh had scored an invite to Funke Akindele’s movie premiere but had failed to attend.

Taking to her Instagram page minutes ago, Tonto apologised to her. She stated that she had sent her team to the movie premiere and they couldn’t stop telling her about the movie.

“Congratulations sis.
Sorry for not making it to the premiere of BATTLE ON BUKA STREET. My team couldn’t stop telling me how amazing the movie is and I can’t wait for our cinemas date to go see the film!!!

We are sure Funke Akindele didn’t notice Tonto’s absence as there was massive turnout at Funke’s movie premiere.

The actress and politician was super excited about the overwhelming show of love from her colleagues for her movie premiere, Battle on Buka Street, which was held on Sunday night in the heart of Lagos.

Appreciating her colleagues for turning up for the event, Funke Akindele released a thank you post on Instagram.

Battle on Buka Streets movie premiere

Nollygistvibes reported that over the weekend, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele premiered her highly anticipated movie, Battle on Buka Streets.

The movie premiered on Sunday, December 11th and had many celebrities in attendance. Wumi Toriola, Regina Chukwu, Mercy Johnson, Sola Sobowale, Nkem Owoh, Iyabo Ojo, Femi Adebayo and more were in attendance.

The theme of the night was repping your culture in Christmas Colors.

Nigerian celebrities no doubt brought in their A games to the red carpet repping different cultural outfits.

The likes of Mercy Johnson Okojie, Tomike Adeoye, Lilian Afegbai, Ruth Kadiri and the Queen of the moment, Funke Akindele stuck to the premiere’s theme.
