Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has issued stern warnings to those that kept mistaking his name for the governor’s name as he pleads with them to stop mentioning him on their handles.
According to the actor, this has been going on for quite a while and has refused to stop even after making it known to the public.
Taking to his Instagram page this morning, he shared some awful comments people had tagged him on while mistaking his handle for Governor Jide Sanwoolu’s Instagram handle.
Nigerians have been quite aggressive especially today making it exactly a year many Nigerian peaceful protesters were massacred by security agents at Lekki Tollgate.
Sharing his Insta-stories, many have rained curses on him as he implored people to check their handles before sending insensitive messages.
He wrote:
I am not your governor oo , you people should stop mentioning me , get the handle right 😢😢😢
Check my stories , you will see what I’m saying 😢😢😢
You people have started check the handle well, I am not your governor, stop swearing for me
