Dare Fasasi, brother of the late iconic singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan has replied to the former presidential aide, Reno Omokri after putting up a photo of Sound Sultan at last year’s endsars protest on his page.
It was recalls that the activist disclosed that the late singer’s picture should be used on Nigeria’s stamps whenever a sane government rises to power, the reason being that he had sacrificed his comfort despite battling with a serious health condition to fight for the common man.
Reno said:
And to think that Sound Sultan knew about his health condition, yet he sacrificed his comfort to fight for the common man. What an uncommon man.
Buhari was sick and he ran to London for 6 months. In a similar situation, this young man chose to associate with the people.
Whenever a sane regime rises to power, this photo should be put on Nigeria’s stamp.
In reaction to the post, brother to the late singer, Dare Fasasi, better known as Baba Dee has reacted to Reno Omokri’s post, stating that he should respect the dead and write about what he knows.
According to Baba Dee, Sound Sultan was never battling with the sickness that claimed his life on July 11th, 2021, he was healthy contrary to what Reno had posted.
He wrote:
Oga please respect the dead and write about what you know. He was never battling anything at this point of his life.
